How to use printer on Chromebook via USB cable

The Labeer Y43BT printer is compatible with Chromebook.

1. Ensure the printer is turned OFF.

2. Connect the printer to your Chromebook using a USB cable.

3. Attach the power cable to the adapter, connect it to the printer, and plug it into a power socket.

4. Turn ON printer.

5. Check U-Disk Mode status on the printed page:

  • If U-Disk Mode = OFF: The printer is ready for ChromeOS use.
  • If U-Disk Mode ≠ OFF: Long press the feed button until three beeps sound to activate ChromeOS Mode, then print another self-test page to verify.
Important note: The printer can only work normally under ChromeOS when U-Disk Mode is set to OFF.

6. Add the FlashLabel Printer Extension to Chrome.

6. Click Add.

7. Select the Y43BT printer from the list and click Connect.

Note:

If the corresponding printer model does not appear in the device search interface, the system may not recognize it.
Try removing and re-adding the Labeer Y43BT printer extension to resolve this issue.

8. Click OK when the connection is successful.

Important: Do not close the printer setup interface, as this will prevent printing.

9. Open your PDF file, select the paper size matching the label paper you are using, and choose "Fit to Printable Area".

Note:  For accurate printing, ensure the following four dimensions align:

    1. The size of your document

    2. The size of the label paper in use

    3. The size option selected on the print preview page
